An instructive video (10:40, 1920×1080, narrated) on Surah Al-Qalam (68). It teaches the way Justin Sung does: the big idea first, then a map of the main parts, then the links between them. It ends with a recall test the viewer does on their own.
- Source: Surah Al-Qalam: Prosperity and the Test of Character (quranarchitecture.com). The script summarises its ideas in new words, and the last slide credits the source.

Structure
The central idea is "Prosperity is a test, not a certificate." Four branches follow the order of the surah:
- The pen and the accusation (1–7)
- Two portraits of character (8–16)
- The garden test (17–34), told as a chain of changes in what the owners say
- Who judges, and when (35–52)
Then come a links slide (six opening ↔ closing echoes), the full map, three reflection questions, and a recall exercise.
Rebuild
pip install edge-tts
python3 build.py # writes al-qalam.mp4 and narration.txt here; scratch files go to build/ (ignored)
Needs ffmpeg, network access (Google Fonts and Microsoft Edge TTS), and headless Chrome. Set CHROME to the browser path if it is not at the agent-browser default. Set VOICE to change the voice; the default is en-AU-WilliamMultilingualNeural.
Notes
- The narrator is an AI text-to-speech voice, not Justin Sung, and the video does not use his name.
- On screen there is one Arabic verse (68:44), shown with an English rendering written for this video.
- Someone who knows the surah well should check the religious content before the video is shared widely.
